Kate Middleton looked to be in good spirits on her last visit in Leeds, where she chatted pleasantries with shopkeepers.
During a visit of Kirkgate Market with her husband, Prince William, the Princess of Wales engaged in a lovely banter with a shopkeeper who joked that Prince William was unlikely to purchase her flowers for Valentine's Day.
The mother-of-three made the remark before to unveiling her groundbreaking initiative, Shaping Us, which aims to increase awareness of a child's first five years of existence.
The 41-year-old Princess came into florist Neil Ashcroft's shop to appreciate his floral arrangement ahead of Valentine's Day. "I suggested William will be purchasing her roses and the Princess of Wales answered by saying, I don't believe he will do," the stall holder remarked after giving Kate with a bouquet of hyacinths.
It is worth noting that Kate and William had to spend their first Valentine's Day as a married couple apart since William was deployed to the Falkland Islands for six weeks at the time in his position as an RAF search and rescue pilot. He did, however, send his sweetheart a card on the occasion.
