Victoria Beckham believes Nicola Peltz persuaded Gigi and Bella Hadid to work for her competitor. Victoria Beckham believes Nicola Peltz is out to get her by intervening in her fashion company and siding with Stella McCartney, a former friend.
According to Closer Magazine, the fashion designer believes the Transformers actress influenced Bella and Gigi Hadid to walk for McCartney.
According to the source, the wife of former football great David Beckham was "less than pleased" to learn that the Hadid sisters were collaborating with her opponent.
"Victoria can't help but think if this is all Nicola's vengeance move," the insider claimed, referring to the schism between the women that began with the actor's marriage to Brooklyn Beckham.
Nicola dated Anwar Hadid, the supermodels' younger brother, for a year and kept in touch with them even after they split up.
"Nicola understood how important it was for Vic to obtain two of the industry's top stars, and given their current feud, Vic wonders whether she urged the Hadids to engage with her direct opponent."
David, on the other hand, has asked Victoria not to leap to conclusions and to speak with the millionaire heiress first, as he does not want to aggravate their already difficult relationship with Brooklyn and Nicola.
"Vic said her mind was racing and decided to talk with Nicola to clear the air and put her mind at ease that she was involved, knowing how upset both she and Brooklyn may be by such claims," the insider said.
"Vic has worked so hard to establish her company and make it a tremendous success, so naturally any whiff of someone trying to undercut that achievement makes her fear.
"But she embraces healthy rivalry and says that if Stella wants to mimic any of her tactics, she'll view it as a kind of flattery," the insider said.
