Ben Affleck has no objections to his ex-wife Jennifer Garner seeing John Miller because he wants "only the best" for her.
Outside of the 13 Going on 30 actor's residence, the Argo star was recently photographed enjoying a friendly talk with the CaliBurger CEO.
An insider now tells Entertainment Tonight that Affleck "likes, knows, and gets along well with John."
"Ben is highly supportive of Jennifer's relationship and wishes her happiness. "It's critical for Ben to have a strong relationship with John," the person said.
The insider went on to say regarding Affleck and Miller's connection, "Ben is very laid-back and gets along with everyone, and John is the same."
John is a kind, down-to-earth man who likes Ben as well. They don't text or hang out much on their own, but they get along fine when they are together.
"Ben has moved on and is really happy with Jen," the person stated. He want the same for Jennifer and just the best for her."
This comes after a source informed the National Enquirer that Garner accepted Miller's proposal following Affleck's consent.
"John has ran the gauntlet to prove he's both spouse and stepdad material," the insider claimed, "which meant he had to prove himself not just to Jen, but also to Ben."
Fortunately, Affleck granted Miller the go-ahead after he reportedly "passed those exams with flying colours," and the couple is already arranging their wedding.
However, it is still unclear whether Garner and Miller will marry anytime soon.
