Gisele Bündchen wished her ex-husband Tom Brady well as he announced his retirement from football "for good" on Wednesday, February 1, 2023.
Following their divorce in October 2022, the Brazilian beauty had nothing but affection for her ex-boyfriend.
"Wishing you nothing but the best in this new chapter of your life," she said beneath his Instagram video on Wednesday morning.
While still married to Gisele Bündchen, the NFL player resigned from the sport last year to focus on his family. However, when the quarterback announced his retirement, the two engaged in a "epic battle" over his decision, according to Page Six.
"There has been conflict in the marriage as a result of his choice to resign. "Gisele has always been the one with the kids," a source told the publication.
"They had agreed he would retire to spend more time with his family, but he changed his mind."
After 13 years of marriage, the former couple were unable to reconcile their disagreements and revealed in October 2022 that they had not only filed for divorce but had also finalised it.
Brady and Bündchen, who share children Benjamin, 13, and Vivian, 10, as well as Jack, the athlete's 15-year-old son with ex Bridget Moynahan, stated in separate statements that they will co-parent their children.
