According to Rolling Stone, Lil Wayne will embark on a 28-city North American tour named the 'Welcome to Tha Carter Tour' in early spring.
The tour, presented by Young Money and Rolling Loud, will see the A Milli rapper begin off on April 4 at The Fillmore in Minneapolis.
He'll be touring the United States and Canada for the next month and a half, culminating on May 13 at the Wiltern in Los Angeles.
Tickets for all performances will go on sale on Ticketmaster.com on Friday, February 3rd.
The news of the Welcome to Tha Carter Tour comes as Lil Wayne prepares to receive a special honour from the Recording Academy's annual Black Music Collective event, which will take place on February 2nd, three days before the 2023 Grammys.
Wayne, a four-time Grammy winner, will be honoured with two of his acclaimed contemporaries, Missy Elliott and Dr. Dre, with the Global Impact Award.
Lil Wayne appeared alongside Rick Ross, Jay-Z, John Legend, and Fridayy on DJ Khaled's God Did, which has been nominated for three Grammys, including Song of the Year, Best Rap Performance, and Best Rap Song.
