Ian Bohen spoke candidly about Kevin Costner's withdrawal from Yellowstone, using a unique scenario.
"I'd use the comparison of a football team. If your quarterback is wounded and needs to leave the game, you must play. So you have to find another method to run the ball, toss the ball, or do various things because you can't give up," Bohen told Us Weekly on the red carpet at the 2024 CMA Awards on Wednesday, November 20.
"So that is what occurred. We lost our quarterback, but we still need to play the game.
The 48-year-old, who portrays rancher Ryan in the western drama, went on to say, "There's a lot of other people there, families, the whole world around it, the stadium, and everybody has to go to work."
"So, what are you going to do?" Well, you have to figure it out. So, that is what we do. "We figured it out," he continued.
After months of speculation about whether Costner, who portrayed John Dutton, would appear in the last episodes of Yellowstone's season 5B, he announced his departure in June.
