Jennifer Garner recently opted to separate herself from Jennifer Lopez and converse mainly about her children.
A source told DailyMail.com, "Jen no longer wishes to communicate with JLo unless it is about the kids."
"Her friends feel she shouldn't have allowed herself to get so involved in helping JLo to fix her marriage to Ben," according to a source!
Previously, The Adam Project actor played the role of "marriage counsellor" during Ben and JLo's marital issues.
"Especially because Jen felt pitted against JLo at times throughout their own marriage. Jen is too polite and genuinely wanted to assist, so she tried," said a source.
Violet, Jennifer's oldest kid, wanted to stay close to Lopez when visiting her former stepmother last summer.
According to the source, "JLo getting close to Violet felt odd to Jen, and then Lynda popping up at Violet's school."
"Jen is faithful to the father of her children (Ben) and their offspring. "Because they adore JLo," said one insider.
According to the insider, "Jen would never badmouth her or speak negatively about JLo."
"Everyone knows that if JLo wanted to spend time with her children aside from Violet, it would have to go through Jen," a source told me.
