While William is away, King Charles meets with important royals at Windsor Castle.

 

In the absence of Prince William, King Charles had an important conference at Windsor Castle.

During the Prince of Wales' high-profile trip of Cape Town, the monarch met Jordan's King Abdullah II at the castle.

Buckingham Palace posted lovely images of the two royal figures on the royal family's official social media account.

The press release continues: "Earlier this evening The King welcomed King Abdullah II of @rhcjo to Windsor Castle to mark the year of His Majesty's Silver Jubilee."

"His Majesty King Abdullah II, accompanied by The King, inspected a Guard of Honour in The Quadrangle."

It is worth noting that King Charles' new engagement coincided with William's presence at the glamorous Earthshot Prize Award.

The future King said in a fresh post, "What a wonderful night last night in Cape Town for The @earthshotprize 2024. Thank you to everyone who made it so memorable."
