James Gunn discusses Robert Pattinson's role in the next movie

 

James Gunn, CEO of DC Studios, has hinted at the prospect of hiring Robert Pattinson in his forthcoming film, Batman: The Brave and the Bold.

In a recent interview with Variety, Gunn honestly mentioned Pattinson's potential involvement in the film.

"I wouldn't rule anything out," Gunn explained. "He could come up in something else. But the actor doesn't exist yet. According to Gunn, Pattinson may not participate in Batman: The Brave And The Bold, but he might star in another DC Studios movie.

Gunn underlined DC Studios' dedication to producing high-quality films, saying, "We're just off trying to make the best movies we can in the best ways we can."

This approach is obvious in Gunn's idea for Batman: The Brave and the Bold, which is rumored to be released around 2027 or 2028.

Pattinson, who starred in The Batman (2022) with Zoë Kravitz, Colin Farrell, and Barry Keoghan, may not return for Gunn's film. Gunn made it clear that he values storytelling and character development over external forces.

"My goal was always to tell the finest tale possible with the best characters. It was that way five years ago, and it is that way now."

Gunn also discussed the present health of the DC brand, noting that many creative teams have varied perspectives for the characters and storylines. "The DC brand was being defined by different creative teams at the company, each was pursuing their own distinct vision of the characters, the story … the result was not one DCU but many," he told me.
