Jim Carrey has spoken out on the possibilities of his classic 1994 comedy picture The Mask.
In his wacky dream picture, Carrey plays a bank clerk who changes into an evil version of himself when he puts on his green mask.
The crazy picture was a huge success and is regarded as one of Jim's most famous works of all time.
When asked about the potential of a sequel, the 62-year-old comic indicated that he had no interest in revisiting the role, but that he would step into his shoes if there was a 'good concept'.
Carrey made it clear that he would never want to play a character like Mask for monetary benefit.
In an interview with ComicBook.com, the Dumb & Dumber actor said, "Oh well, you know, it has to be the perfect idea. Perhaps someone had the correct idea... "It's not about the money."
"I make jokes about money. But I never know. You cannot be certain of these things. I stated I'd want to retire, but I believe I meant power-resting.
He went on to say, "Because as soon as you get a fantastic concept, or a group of individuals you really loved working with, things tend to shift.
Cameron Diaz and Peter Greene play crucial roles in The Mask.
