Prince William offered wonderful news as he returned to his royal responsibilities after a Caribbean holiday with Kate Middleton and their three children.
After meeting with England's new manager Thomas Tuchel at Windsor Castle, the Prince of Wales, who has been patron of the Football Association since July 2024 after succeeding Queen Elizabeth, delivered a message.
Kensington Palace shared a portrait of the future King with a former German footballer.
"Great to meet with new @england men's manager Thomas Tuchel today, and hear about plans for the team," the recipient of the message said.
Furthermore, it is "highly likely" that William, an enthusiastic Aston Villa supporter, informed Thomas of the team's "ongoing success". William was accompanied by FA CEO Mark Bullingham.
The discussion also took place before of Thomas' debut match in his new role, as England face Albania next month.
