Lisa Kudrow, who portrayed the eccentric and free-spirited Phoebe Buffey on Friends, admitted that she struggled at first to strike up conversations and make friends with her co-stars.
In a recent episode of the Armchair Expert podcast, the Friends alum recounted how her co-stars, Matt LeBlanc, Courtney Cox, and Jennifer Aniston, would try to work things out if there was a mistake.
The Comeback star claimed she wasn't one of them since she struggled to strike up a conversation.
"If someone said something or did something, it didn't get too big because it was, 'Can I talk to you?'" Kudrow revealed that it was "usually not [her]" who broke the ice during a possible dispute.
"I had to learn to be, like, 'Can I talk to you about something?'" she told me.
The 61-year-old revealed that she had to learn "respectful communication" from her co-stars. "I saw it modelled really well by Courtney and Jennifer and Matt."
Kudrow, who has been promoting her new Netflix comedy No Good Dead, also admitted that she will never grow tired of talking about the iconic sitcom.
She referred to it as a "blessing" and wanted that people "never shut up about Friends".
Kudrow starred on Friends alongside LeBlanc, Cox, and Aniston, as well as the late Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer.
