Prince Harry received some terrible news when he returned from his solo trip to New York to attend a high-profile gathering.
The Duke of Sussex, who is enthusiastic about his charitable work, received a major blow from his most beloved organization on the South African continent after hosting a special event for it.
In 2006, Harry and Prince Seeiso launched Sentebale to help vulnerable affected youngsters in Southern Africa. Harry lost a crucial member of his team after holding a fancy fund-raising art show, Friend (A Survey of Op Art & Minimalism), in New York City last week, according to the Daily Mail's royal reporter.
Richard Miller, Sentabale's CEO, stepped down after five years, according to Richard Eden.
"Behind the scenes, there have been major changes going on at the organisation," Eden wrote in the source. "[Miller's] departure follows that of Baroness Chalker, the overseas development minister, who stepped down as a director last month."
Eden said that Miller will be replaced by Carmel Gaillard, an interim executive director located in Johannesburg, South Africa.
She has been invited to lead a "strategic transformation" of the charity.
The Sussex office stated in October that during Harry's solo trip to Lesotho, the Prince "holds a special place in his heart for this nation, particularly through his work with Sentebale."
