Lady Louise Windsor is developing as a possible major player in the Royal Family, with a rising demand for younger working royals, according to a royal specialist.
Lady Louise, 21, is now attending the University of St Andrews to pursue a degree in English. As the eldest daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and the youngest granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II, she has mostly kept out of the royal spotlight.
However, royal analyst Richard Fitzwilliams has indicated that the monarchy may soon require extra assistance, with just a few senior royals under the age of 70.
Her mother, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, has grown more visible in the monarchy, particularly as she helps the Princess of Wales recover from cancer.
Fitzwilliams complimented Sophie's efforts, describing her as a "pillar of strength" amid a difficult period for the Royal Family.
As King Charles goes through a period of transition, debate lingers about whether Lady Louise will take up royal duties or choose a life outside of the Firm.
