The agony of King Charles III's younger son does not appear to be coming to an end anytime soon, as Prince Harry got further bad news following his successful Invictus Games event in Canada.
According to a recent report, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will reveal portions of Prince Harry's immigration records with minor redactions amid an ongoing litigation over charges he lied about drug usage.
It comes after federal Judge Carl Nichols ordered the agency to submit the court with a redacted version of Harry's file for review, with the eventual objective of making the documents public, according to the New York Post.
The Heritage Foundation sued DHS in an attempt to get the Duke of Sussex's record, attempting to determine if Meghan's husband neglected to disclose his previous drug usage on his immigration application.
In a court filing, the DHS stated that it could send over "items 1-3" of Harry's data with minimal redactions, but would not divulge "item 4."
However, it is unclear what information the DHS will share.
Earlier this month, Nichols stated at the court that he wanted the documents to be released "in stages" to avoid breaking US privacy regulations.
According to reports. The agency will have until March 6 to provide the redacted version of the records for the judge to evaluate.
Nile Gardiner emphasized the need of "transparency" in the handling of immigration proceedings.
