Charles Spencer, Princess Diana's brother, has now broken his silence and revealed fresh private facts amid persistent speculation regarding Prince William and Harry's animosity.
William and Harry's uncle took to social media to provide a rare glimpse into his connection with the new partner, openly declaring his adoration for Cat Jarman while undergoing divorce proceedings from his third wife, Karen Spencer.
The 60-year-old, who is renowned for backing Meghan and Harry's decisions, posted on X (previously Twitter): "I'm deeply proud of, and impressed by, my partner @CatJarman for her support of the MS Society."
Spencer kept going: "She is an example of how successful and fulfilled people with this condition can be, and I know her support of this charity will be hugely beneficial to so many."
He continued to pour praise on her new sweetheart: "Cat is a passionate advocate for good causes, and this is just one more example of her selflessness and determination to help others."
Jarman and Charles met for the first time in 2021. The two lovebirds co-hosted The Rabbit Hole Detectives, a history podcast, alongside Rev Richard Coles. He eventually acknowledged his connection with Jarman, referring to her as his "partner" during an interview on Good Morning Britain in October 2024.
