Ben Affleck may be an Oscar-winning actor, but his children keep him grounded.
On Jimmy Kimmel Live on April 23, the Accountant 2 star confessed that his three children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner are brutally honest about his film business.
"My kids are very tough and they don't censor their criticism," stated the actor. "They'll sit next to me, watch a movie, and remark, 'This is horrible. "Why did you do this?"
Armageddon was one film that did not particularly appeal to them. Affleck admitted that during the epidemic, he attempted screening the 1998 sci-fi film for his children and immediately regretted it.
"Almost quickly, it was like, 'What? What's this? "This is ridiculous," he recalled. "My son said, 'This doesn't make sense.'" "This is not a logic-based film!"
Fortunately, The Accountant 2 received better reviews. "They liked it," he explained. "They were shocked as if I got lucky, like this magical accident happened and something I did was OK!"
Affleck previously discussed teaching his children the importance of money. "My oldest two have jobs," he explained during a recent interview on Today with Jenna & Friends.
What about when son Samuel begged for $6,000 sneakers? "I was like, 'I got the money!' "You are broke," Affleck joked. "You love your kids… but you do them a disservice if you don't make them work for things."
