Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte are anticipated to follow in the footsteps of their elder brother, Prince George.
Royal analyst Richard Fitzwilliams told GB News that Louis and Charlotte will spend more time in the spotlight with their parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales.
The announcement comes shortly after Prince William brought Prince George, 11, to Paris on Wednesday night to witness Aston Villa face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League quarter-finals. Meanwhile, the younger siblings, including Kate Middleton, watched the game from home.
Fitzwilliams hailed the choice, implying that younger royals Charlotte, 9, and Louis, 6, may appear at more significant events in the future.
"It is due to age and the fact that it is a balance," he stated. "As they get older they will be seen at more events."
The announcer also pointed out a more evident reason why George accompanied his father to the game while the other two did not: "George is obviously highly interested [in football], and there is that component to it. You want to take someone who is going to have a good time and appear to be having fun," he explained.
Fitzwilliams also discussed the developing royal image and how William's more demonstrative parenting approach distinguishes him from King Charles.
He clarified: "An enthusiasm for a sport that is so popular does help build a connection."
