John Travolta reduced his fans to tears with a heartfelt homage to his late son Jett on an emotional occasion.
The Staying Alive star celebrated Jett's 33rd birthday with a rare shot of him with his son.
On Sunday, April 13, the two-time Oscar nominee shared a flashback photo on Instagram of a young Travolta grinning and holding his kid in both arms, while baby Jett plays with his father's ears.
"Happy birthday Jett - I miss you so much!" The 71-year-old actor stated in his caption. "Love you forever!"
The couple's first child died at the age of 16 in January 2009 on a family holiday in the Bahamas.
The adolescent had a seizure before striking his head on the bathtub at their holiday house.
The Pulp Fiction actor previously described how difficult it was to heal from his son's loss.
In February 2014, the BBC reported that while onstage at London's Theatre Royal Drury Lane, the actor lamented his son's death as "the worst thing that's ever happened in my life."
Preston, Travolta's loving wife, died at the age of 57, 11 years after Jett did. She has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
