Kate Middleton looks to be committed to her hidden duty after King Charles entrusted her with a vital responsibility.
The Princess of Wales, who had a nine-month cancer journey last year, has gradually resumed her royal responsibilities. Kate was given a significant role when she returned, while the king's cancer treatment continued.
According to previous reports, Kate is keen to unify Prince Harry, Prince William, and the monarch, ultimately putting a stop to the years-long royal divide. Despite William's complaints, the future Queen has served as a mediator between the siblings.
The Duke of Sussex was in the United Kingdom last week to attend two days of judicial proceedings in his continuing security case appeal. Now, insiders say Kate extended an olive branch to her estranged brother-in-law.
The Princess covertly reached out to Harry during his brief visit to the UK because she "wouldn't have hesitated to take the opportunity to connect with him," according to the insider.
According to Heat magazine, Kate is "desperate" to bridge the schism between the bickering brothers before "it's too late". The mission is now of "heightened importance" following King Charles' unexpected hospitalization last month.
According to sources quoted by RadarOnline, Kate took advantage of the chance when William was abroad in Paris with Prince George to attend a football match last week.
"Kate has always left the door open for Harry and would not have squandered this opportunity to speak with him," they added, adding that it's unclear whether the Duke took her up on the offer.
"After everything she has gone through, she believes life is too short for a family conflict. Kate will not give up. She will do all in her power to reunite the family."
The news comes while Harry's security case decision has still to be published. However, considering the reaction of King Charles' younger son, who described the court processes as 'crushing' and'sad' in a recent interview, the cards do not appear to be in Harry's favour.
