Katy Perry has all of her preparations in line as she prepares for a major purpose in life.
The singer, who is preparing to embark on her 84-date global tour, has announced intentions to tour alongside her daughter Daisy.
In a recent interview with E! News, the Wide Awake singer said that experiencing the tour from her daughter's perspective is like "Christmas," with "so much light, joy, and hope."
Perry also stated that becoming a mother inspired her to start the concerts earlier, stating, "One thing I will be implementing is an earlier showtime because now I feel for all the mothers that I put through when I started my show at 9:15."
Whether Daisy would come on stage, the singer insisted that she would not bring her daughter out, despite the fact that she will be joining her on tour.
While preparations for the tour, which begins on May 7th, are underway, Perry will fly into space.
She will join an all-female six-person crew lead by Jeff Bezo's fiancée Lauren Sanchez to the launch of Blue Origin's NS-31 suborbital spaceflight mission.
Aside from Perry and Sanchez, rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, bio-astronautics research scientist Amanda Nguyen, CBS Mornings co-host Gayle King, and film producer Kerianne Flynn will also join the space trip on April 14.
