King Charles got a surprise package from the United States, as Meghan Markle steps in to bring peace to the current royal rivalry.
The Duchess of Sussex, who debuted her lifestyle business, As Ever, earlier this month, gave her estranged father-in-law a box of items to trial, "a very well-placed source" stated.
According to royal journalist Neil Sean's report on Fox News Digital, the "sample box of delights from As Ever has been delivered to Clarence House with a note".
"An As Ever gift box [was sent], which included the… jams, honey, crêpes mix and various assortments, according to a very well-placed source," said Sean to the media. "This was a gifted idea from… the Duchess of Sussex."
Meghan had also delivered customized boxes to her pals before the debut, complete with personal, handwritten messages.
Meghan still has "such high regard" for the king, according to the source, which is why she wanted to share a piece of her business with him.
The publication contacted Clarence House and Archewell to corroborate the accusations. However, the assertions have yet to be validated.
Meghan's supposed present appears to coincide with King Charles and Queen Camilla's twentieth anniversary. Meanwhile, this may be interpreted as a gesture of reconciliation between separated father and son.
Prince Harry has not talked to his cancer-stricken father in almost a year, and these modest gestures may help to defrost the two's cold relationship.
