Kate Middleton, who appears to be easing back into her prominent role in the royal family, made a rare solo visit to spread an important message.
As the Princess of Wales prepares for her destined role in the monarchy, Kensington Palace on Monday published a new film of the future Queen's unique solo journey to nature.
Kate, the Scouts' Joint President, accompanied a group of young Scouts to the Lake District in the United Kingdom last month. She was joined by Chief Scout Dwayne Fields to talk about the "importance of the natural world and its ability to support our health and wellbeing".
The princess and Dwyane went on a stroll near the beaches of Lake Windermere, accompanied by Scouts and Scout Explorers from 1st Buddha's Light in Greater Manchester. While there, the group completed a challenge to get their Naturalist Badge.
She elaborated: "Not everyone has that same relationship perhaps with nature, but it is so therefore meaningful for me as a place to balance and find a sort of sense of peace and reconnection in what is otherwise a very busy world."
The footage comes as rumors indicate that Prince William and Kate have been put on high alert as concerns about King Charles' health deepen.
Insiders told RadarOnline that while the king's recent hospitalization was a "minor bump," it "served as a sobering reminder of his ongoing health struggles, indicating to the family that they have little control over the timing of royal succession."
They also stated that William is "prepared to take over at a moment's notice," implying that Kate is making the most of her time as he continues to focus on her rehabilitation path.
