The Oppo K12s was unveiled in China on Tuesday. The new device is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 CPU and has a 7,000mAh battery with 80W charging capabilities. The Oppo K12s has a 6.67-inch display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and is available in three distinct colours. The latest Oppo K-series smartphone, like previous models, features a dual back camera arrangement, with a 50-megapixel primary rear camera. The Oppo K12s looks to be a rebranded version of the Oppo K13 5G, which was introduced on Monday in India.

Oppo K12s is priced at CNY 1,199 (approximately Rs. 14,000) for the basic 8GB + 128GB storage option. The RAM and storage variants of 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB are priced at CNY 1,399 (approximately Rs. 16,000), CNY 1,599 (about Rs. 18,000), and CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs. 20,000), respectively. It comes in three colors: Rose Purple, Prism Black, and Star White (translated from Chinese). The phone will be on sale in China on April 25.

The dual-SIM (nano) Oppo K12s runs Android 15 with the ColorOS 15 overlay on top. It has a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixel) AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 1,200 nits peak brightness. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC and supports up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The handset's heat dissipation area is 5,700mm sq VC.
The Oppo K12s boasts a dual rear camera set consisting of a 50-megapixel main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and autofocus and a 2-megapixel monochrome camera. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.5 aperture. The phone has an IP65 rating for dust and splash protection.
The Oppo K12s' connectivity options include 5G, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, Beidou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and a USB Type-C connection. It features twin stereo speakers and an in-display fingerprint sensor for identification. The device has facial recognition capabilities. The ambient light sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, infrared remote control, and proximity sensor are all on board.
The Oppo K12s has a 7,000mAh battery and 80W charging capabilities. The fast-charging capability is touted to charge the battery from 0% to 62% in 30 minutes. The battery is marketed as providing up to 49.4 hours of talking time and up to 14.9 hours of video calling time on a single charge. The battery is said to have a capacity retention rate of more than 80% after five years of regular usage.
Oppo introduced the Oppo K13 5G to the Indian market yesterday, featuring the same 7,000mAh battery, 80W charging, and Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC. The phone costs Rs. 17,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage edition.
