Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sent a personal message to support an important cause near to Prince William's heart.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex marked Earth Day 2025 with a new message posted on the Archewell Foundation's website on the occasion of Prince Louis' seventh birthday.
The pair from California said: "Today marks Earth Day, a global effort to raise awareness of the importance of environmentalism, and uplift efforts to combat the climate crisis."
The former working royals' spokeswoman disclosed that the Archewell team collaborated with L.A. Works and Los Angeles River State Park Partners to "help build and restore a native habitat."
The Sussexes feel that this sensible project will benefit both the local community and the world.
Harry and Meghan's Archewell crew "assisted with planting and mulching, removing invasive species, and maintaining the greenery at a local park, adjacent to the L.A. River."
Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet's parents worked with the Los Angeles River State Park Partners to "protect and enhance the community, cultural, natural, and historic resources of the parks."
Regarding the significance of Earth Day, the Duke and Duchess stated that it is high time to honor the world and collaborate to emphasize the need of "sustainability and environmental conservation."
At the end of their message, Harry and Meghan asked their fans to "take action," even if it was a modest step toward "a healthier planet and a greener Earth for future generations."
It is worth noting that the Montecito couple celebrated Earth Day 2025 on Archie and Lilibet's royal relative Prince Louis's birthday.
