Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been accused of using royal links to advance their own agendas.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who have struck hefty sponsorship deals with streaming titans, have considerable clout.
According to royal analyst Russell Myers, the Sussexes inked lucrative partnerships with streaming giants Netflix and Spotify, Meghan penned a children's book, and Harry wrote a snappy biography, making them a lot. Their early triumphs were undeniably due to the couple's charm and the enormous curiosity about what they would accomplish next."
He adds: "Whether Harry is pondering writing a sequel to his controversial memoir or challenging his father's administration in court for taxpayer-funded protection, it runs deep. Meghan, too, is accused of capitalizing on titles that they were expressly advised against in order to pitch her current commercial projects.
The specialist points out: "Meghan's representatives have suggested the couple do not use the HRH publicly, even though their titles remain."
"To deny Harry and Meghan the opportunity to make a life for themselves is pointless and cruel. Mr Myers adds that the decisions they took were for the good of their family and a future beyond what they saw in front of them.
