Prince William seemed to treat his son Prince George to a special treat during their surprise visit to Paris on Wednesday.
The Prince of Wales and his first child were in the stands at the Parc des Princes to cheer on William's favorite football team, Aston Villa, when they faced Paris Saint-Germain.
In a special video, Kensington Palace provided an update on the unexpected journey and included an encouraging message from William.
Before the game began, William met with the players and gave them an encouraging embrace as they raced out onto the pitch.
William also spoke with the night's commentators, Ally and Rio, and the future king left a lasting impact with his well-informed take on the match.
"Obviously, there is a limit. Can we get around the press? Can we defeat it? So, I'm thinking long ball a little bit, but I'm also thinking about how they're going to get past the high press, so it's going to be a tough night," William remarked, adding, "and I'm looking forward to seeing what tactics Unais will have to utilize."
In response, the commentators teased the Prince about never taking up a punditry position since William could easily replace them, applauding him for the manner he "dissected" the play.
The footage was accompanied with the caption, "A tremendous night in the Champions League under the lights. Not the outcome we desired, but it is not yet done! Bring for the second leg in Villa Park! UTV."
'UTV' is a popular abbreviation for football supporters that stands for "Up The Villa".
