Prince William appears to have dealt another blow to Prince Harry and his bride Meghan Markle following the couple's recent antics.
In an unexpected turn amid a disagreement between two royal brothers, a royal assistant who filed a bullying claim against the Duchess of Sussex has been assigned a significant job in the future monarch's primary environmental mission.
Jason Knauf, who formerly worked with Prince William, Prince Harry, and their spouses, has been appointed the new CEO of The Earthshot Prize.
The news comes after Prince Harry's message concerning his royal leave and security was leaked online, revealing his darkest dread. The Duke believes his UK security was removed to prevent him from leaving the royal position.
According to a royal insider, the decision appears to be in response to Harry's criticism against the firm.
"It might not be a calculating move, but a blow to Harry and his wife Meghan."
According to the insiders, "With this decision, William has once again knocked Harry to the floor."
On April 17, The Earthshot Prize, launched by Prince William and The Royal Foundation in October 2020, revealed Knauf's new post, adding that current CEO Hannah Jones would leave this summer after four years.
William heaped praise on the newly appointed CEO: "As we look ahead to the future of The Prize and the urgent work needed to scale more inspiring solutions to the world's greatest challenges, I look forward to working with Jason to chart the course for the next five years of the Earthshot Prize and beyond."
William also praised outgoing CEO Hannah, stating: "As the first CEO, Hannah has built The Prize into a world-class organisation with an incredible team."
It is worth noting that in October 2018, Knauf filed a complaint accusing Harry's wife of bullying, alleging that she pushed two personal assistants out of the house and damaged the trust of a third staff member.
A representative for Meghan and Harry responded to the claim, saying the Duchess is "saddened by this latest attack on her character, particularly as someone who has been the target of bullying herself and is deeply committed to supporting those who have experienced pain and trauma."
Meghan is also under criticism for using her old title, Your Royal Highness (HRH), despite being "banned" from doing so by the monarchy.
The Duchess Meghan, who recently began her new podcast, came to Instagram on April 15 to post a letter from a lawmaker addressing her as "Your Royal Highness."
