Meghan Markle, who recently released the third episode of her podcast, received some awful news following an unexpected phone conversation.
The Duchess of Sussex had been attempting to contact the Grammy-winning singer for some time, hoping to invite her on her podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder.
However, insiders indicated that the chat with Taylor did not go as planned, and the former Suits star was deeply dissatisfied.
"No one's picking up the phone," an insider close to production told DailyMail about the Eras Tour performance. "The show is not landing."
According to the source, the crew has "dialled all the big names" for the podcast, including Beyoncé.
Meghan had "honest conversations" with women who have built from the ground up, overcome hurdles, and persevered. However, these calls are silently ignored.
"There is no Taylor Swift. No Beyoncé. Not even Hailey Bieber. And this is problematic when presenting female empowerment. It says volumes about her pulling power. She's not pleased with her lack of attraction.
Given that A-listers are refusing her calls, Meghan has not reached out to additional friends, influencers, and startup entrepreneurs to promote her business 'As Ever'.
The insider stated that Meghan should forget about "red-carpet royalty" since Confessions of a Female Founder is "crying out for relevance, and it's just not landing."
