Princess Anne has been praised for her significant contributions to philanthropic causes, with the charity's chief executive describing her most recent engagement as "critically important."
On April 7, the Princess Royal made her first formal appearance in her new role, visiting the charity's community facility.
The visit also coincided with the presentation of the Eric Liddell Exhibition, which honors the legacy of the legendary Scottish athlete and missionary.
The Eric Liddell Community's CEO, John MacMillan, expressed his thanks to Anne for accepting the patronage.
'We were really honored when Her Royal Highness decided to be our Royal Patron,' he told GB News.
Princess Anne previously served as Patron of The Eric Liddell 100 Centenary Campaign from 2022 to 2024.
Her new position indicates her sustained dedication to the organization's goal.
MacMillan emphasized the importance of the Princess' continuous involvement: "Her Royal Highness has played a key role in amplifying our work." Her assistance has enabled us to reach larger audiences and draw attention to both the problems we confront and the successes we have accomplished.
With Anne's help, the community enters a hopeful chapter, supported by a royal voice that genuinely believes in its mission.
