Apple is reported to have numerous devices in development that might be released just in time for the iPhone's 20th anniversary. According to a seasoned writer, the Cupertino-based tech giant will release the first foldable iPhone around that time. The gadget has been under development for years, and it may finally allow Apple to catch up with competitors such as Samsung and Xiaomi in the foldable smartphone category. According to Gurman, the business might potentially release its first smart eyewear. It intends to create a specific chip for the gadget, which may operate in a manner similar to the Meta Ray-Ban glasses. Apple is said to be leveraging its expertise in audio, design, and component miniaturization to help build its smart glasses. Powered by Apple Intelligence, the company's AI suite, the smart glasses are expected to use cameras to provide Visual Intelligence-like capabilities by gathering information about the surrounding environment.
In addition to the foldable iPhone, curved iPhone, and smart glasses, Apple may release new AirPods and Apple Watch versions by 2027, complete with cameras that provide comparable functionality to the smart glasses. Another innovation set to debut at the iPhone's 20th anniversary is a tabletop device with a robotic arm. Previous rumors claim that it will essentially be an iPad with AI capabilities coupled to a robotic arm. The alleged gadget might have actuators that can tilt and rotate the display 360 degrees.
While several consumer hardware devices are set to launch, the Cupertino-based tech behemoth also intends to unveil numerous additional solutions. One of them is said to be new chips for its AI services to improve user experience.
