Brooklyn Beckham chose not to see his parents on a trip to London for a very specific reason.
The 26-year-old model is apparently keeping a distance from his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, to allow everyone time to process their emotions.
Brooklyn considered not visiting his parents when he went to his country for a business trip "because things are tense and he didn't think it would be a productive conversation," a source told Us Weekly on Tuesday, May 27.
The insider also stated that Brooklyn "didn't want to deal with it" since he's "trying to let things go right now and is giving everyone space."
After Brooklyn stated in a social media post that he would "always choose" his wife, the publication also claimed that they had "not been in touch" with his family since missing the former star athlete's 50th birthday celebration.
Nicola and Brooklyn are presently focusing on "just doing their own thing" until the ongoing rivalry resolves itself.
"They have their own separate lives and have been carrying on for now," according to a source.
This follows reports this week that Brooklyn declined to meet David and Victoria during a recent trip to London for a fashion photoshoot.
"It's really sad," one insider remarked. "David and Victoria had no idea Brooklyn was in London." It's becoming increasingly obvious how tense things are behind the scenes."
