Jackie Chan, well known for The Karate Kid, has revealed details about a prospective sequel to his blockbuster 1998 film.
Chan is now promoting his latest picture, Karate Kid: Legends, which is set to open in theaters worldwide on May 30.
During a recent interview, the Hong Kong-based actor was asked if another Rush Hour film was in the works.
The action comedy, directed by Brett Ratner, follows two officers from different cultures who can't tolerate one other but are compelled to work together due to circumstances.
The 71-year-old recently revealed to Screen Rant that Rush Hour 4 is in development.
He said, "Yes!" I'd want to make another Shanghai Dawn, Shanghai Noon, Shanghai Knights, and Shanghai Dawn."
"The script is currently ongoing. "I want to do a Rush Hour 4," Jackie continued.
However, he was unsure how far the film's development had progressed, so Chan said, "I'm not sure. Ask the director, the studio, or the writer. Hurry up! Otherwise, Chris Tucker and I will be 100 years old. We'll be older men working Rush Hour."
The actor from Police Story stars alongside Chris Tucker in this American officer action comedy flick.
