King Charles' Sandringham Estate in Norfolk had to lock its doors to guests on May 1.
The tourists were dissatisfied after an unexpected plumbing incident.
According to a statement from the Sandringham staff, the estate is temporarily closed all day owing to an emergency plumbing issue. According to Mirror, this comprises The House, The Gardens, Sandringham Restaurant, and Courtyard Facilities.
"We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. The Royal Parkland is still accessible for visitors, but there will be no restroom facilities available," it noted.
Notably, Anglian Water published an update stating, "We're very sorry, but some customers in Sandringham and surrounding areas may have very low water pressure or no water at all." This is triggered by a busted water main in your neighborhood."
It's worth noting that, while King Charles and Queen Camilla frequently visit at Sandringham, the King was not present during the event.
King Charles is now in London attending a cancer support event at Buckingham Palace.
