Lewis Pullman has revealed how his father Bill Pullman reacted to the plot for Thunderbolts*, his first Marvel movie.
While speaking with PEOPLE magazine at a recent Thunderbolts* press event, the 32-year-old Hollywood actor joked that his famous father has yet to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but he still gives him valuable advise based on his successful acting career.
Lewis, who portrays the mystery character Bob, stated, "He always puts the plot first, the writing first, and the character first. I was waiting for the whole script so that I could deliver it to him and we could discuss it."
Giving a serious Bill Pullman-esque performance, he said, "Once he read the material, he was like, 'There's a lot to do here. Yeah. "I believe there is a lot to be done."
Moving on, when asked about his or his family's affinity for Marvel films, the Top Gun: Maverick star answered, "We didn't grow up watching TV and we were allowed, like, a movie or two every weekend."
To elaborate, he said, "We watched a lot of what my parents grew up watching, so there was a lot of old things. I was the youngest child, so my movie vote was always relegated to the back. I would have placed Marvel on there, but my voice was not heard."
"I'm going to have my entire family see this movie together. "So it'll be monumental," Lewis said ahead of his Marvel debut.
Thunderbolts* stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, Hannah John-Kamen, and David Harbour.
Thunderbolts* is slated to open in theaters on May 2, 2025.
