Kevin Jonas has brought the darker aspect of touring to light ahead of the JONAS20 tour.
The 37-year-old singer, who rose to prominence as the Jonas Brothers' lead guitarist, spoke openly about his "post-show blues."
In an exclusive interview with People, the Waffle House hitmaker revealed: "All the depression, blues, it's real, especially after a tour."
He elaborated on the sensation by recalling the band's most recent tour, which concluded in Europe.
Speaking with the newspaper, he stated, "After our last tour, we played around 100 and something gigs - which was too much - and we concluded in Europe. I got on my aircraft to return home after, I guess, 130 gigs, and I got on my flight, which was severely delayed, which is never good."
Later in the conversation, Kevin stated that he saw a therapist following the long 18-hour trip.
The Only Human singer went on to say, "I took the first flight out of Poland to go through Munich to get home and was delayed for about seven hours, and then they had to make a random stop in Nova Scotia." So it took me about an extra 18 hours to get home, and by then I was exhausted and burned out. I had to go talk to a therapist about how to deal with the highs and lows. "It's so shocking."
This comes after the Jonas Brothers completed their seventh world tour, THE TOUR, in support of their sixth studio album, The Album.
For those unfamiliar, the pop rock band is already preparing for their next adventure, the JONAS20 tour, which begins in August at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
