A friend of King Charles has provided a big new update on the ongoing feud between King Charles and his estranged son Prince Harry.
Speaking to the Telegraph, a friend of King Charles stated that the monarch's feud with Prince Harry is so "tender" that he does not even discuss it with friends.
The source claimed: "It seems to me one of those things that, if you wanted to have a cheerful evening or cheerful lunch, is probably best not to mention."
Regarding reconciliation, the acquaintance adds King Charles is "bemused by Harry's repeated airing of laundry," and Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Queen Camilla are not in favor of a reunion.
According to the insider, "As long as William, Kate, and Camilla have a say in the matter, Harry will be left out in the Californian wilderness."
The new revelations come just days after Prince Harry's previous BBC interview, in which he discussed reconciliation with his family.
In the interview, Harry indicated a wish for reconciliation with the royal family, notably his father, King Charles, after losing a judicial battle over UK security.
The duke claims King Charles "won't speak to me because of this security stuff," but he doesn't want to fight anymore and doesn't know how much longer his father has.
According to the BBC, Harry stated: "I can't see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the UK at this point."
"There have been so many disagreements between myself and some of my family," he said, but he has now "forgiven" them.
"I'd love to reconcile with my family. "There's no point in fighting anymore; life is precious," remarked Archie and Lilibet's father, who stated that the issue about his security had "always been the sticking point."
