King Charles and Queen Camilla issued a personal statement as the royal pair concluded their short trip of Canada on Tuesday.
As Charles and Camilla boarded the plane to return to the United Kingdom, Buckingham Palace provided an update on their momentous royal visit.
The King's office presented particular highlights from the visit, followed by a loving statement.
"As my wife and I leave Canada, we wanted to send our most heartfelt thanks to all those who turned out to offer their support on this, my first visit as Sovereign," the message reads.
"It was the warmest of welcomes - and the happiest of reunions with a nation and people we adore. Until next time, goodbye, Canada, and with all our gratitude."
It was signed off by "Charles R. & Camilla R."
