King Charles dreads a typical bathroom plumbing component.
His Majesty despises the concept of wet wipes in his restrooms and has instructed cleaning personnel not to bring them onto the grounds.
Anne, an ex-cleaner at Buckingham Palace, claims that wet wipes created serious plumbing concerns.
"Despite being advertised as 'flushable,' they don't break down in the system like toilet paper does," according to her.
"This resulted in recurring clogs and costly plumbing repairs. "It became clear that they simply weren't worth the trouble," recalls the former employee.
This comes only one day after His Majesty spoke candidly about his cancer fight.
In his formal statement, the 76-year-old states: "Each diagnosis, each new case, will be a daunting and, at times, frightening experience for those individuals and their loved ones." However, being one of those numbers, I can attest that it can also be an experience that puts to light the greatest aspects of humanity.
"It has definitely given me a greater appreciation for the outstanding work done by the remarkable groups and individuals assembled here this evening, many of whom I have known, visited, and supported over the years. And it has confirmed what I have long noticed on these visits: that even the worst periods of disease may be lit by the greatest compassion," he says.
