Liam Gallagher immediately responded to his co-manager's remark.
He appears to be responding to the accusations made, stating that the band will not release any new songs.
Alec McKinlay, co-director of the management organization that has controlled Oasis since 1993, has ruled out the possibility of the band releasing new songs.
In an interview with Music Week, regarding Oasis' impending tour, Oasis Live '25, he commented, "This is very much the last time around, as Noel's made clear in the press."
"It's an opportunity for fans who haven't seen the band before to do so, or at least some of them will. "There are no plans for new music," he stated.
The 52-year-old was eager to respond to these charges when a fan said, "Liam, I don't know who Oasis' manager is, but his attitude of telling us that after this tour, there will be nothing more was not very biblical."
"Neither do I and the only people that will be making any kind of decisions on the future of OASIS will be ME n RKID so let's just take it 1 day at a time," Liam wrote to X, which used to be Twitter.
Another admirer wondered whether his brother, Noel Gallagher agreed with him, saying, “But what if Noel doesn’t think the same as you?”
"I'm sure he doesn't, but that's fine," the British music legend stated.
"Are you still gonna do any solo stuff after this tour?" A third fan inquired, to which Liam responded vaguely, adding, "I might do another album with John [Squire] who knows. I might join the spiritual space invaders. I might do nothing. That's the groovy thing about the future, nobody knows."
