In the view of many, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry paid a high price for their unforeseen marriage.
Tom Bower, a royal biographer, recently discussed the true expense of the Sussexes' California lifestyle.
According to the Daily Record, he thinks, "In the beginning, Harry found it fantastic, and Meghan clearly loved it."
However, it eventually became "an unpredictable, tumultuous rollercoaster, which is not what they expected."
Mr Bower believes that this has resulted in Prince Harry being "a very lonely prince" with no "relationships with his family" remaining.
But it didn't stop him from praising the team for one thing: how they "conceal the turmoil that they go through, such as the court case on security in London." Harry is distressed, but Meghan cannot help him in any way. Additionally, "she doesn't want to be involved in Harry's battle with his family."
"She's concentrating on their life in California with the kids and developing her brand." Everything that has transpired since their wedding has put a big burden on them, but Meghan is a superb performer who knows how to dismiss criticism while still looking perfect and smiling," he continued before signing off.
