Meghan Markle has revealed a surprise detail about her pregnancy.
Meghan, Prince Harry's wife, discussed her pregnancies with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet on the most recent edition of her podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder.
throughout a talk with guest Hannah Mendoza, creator of Clevr Blends, the Duchess of Sussex disclosed that she used traditional Indian medicine throughout her pregnancies, adding, "During my pregnancies, I had an Ayurvedic doctor, and so much of it was about seeing food as medicine."
"I believe that when people hear the word mushrooms, they assume, 'OK, she's talking about being hippie-dippy and grounded in all these things. If you're unfamiliar with adaptogens, you could think, 'Oh, it's feeling a bit trippy and extremely woo-woo.'" Meghan explained.
"So there are these items and ingredients that have been part of our natural ecosystem and dietary system for a long time, whether acknowledged or not, that somehow you say mushrooms, and now people have a connotation attached to it."
"But it's really just a food trend that I believe you were far ahead of in terms of saying, 'Hold on, these have properties that can in some way make you feel differently in a really safe way'."
It is worth noting that in his memoir Spare, Prince Harry discussed consuming magic mushrooms in California.
