Meghan Markle has spoken up about her emotions of self-doubt before establishing her lifestyle business, As Ever.
On the most recent edition of her newly launched podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder, the Duchess of Sussex discussed a low point.
Meghan welcomed Hannah Mendoza, founder of Clevr Blends, in the current episode, saying, "I had a moment last week... I made a phone call and asked, 'Will this work? Like, will this truly work? But I felt some self-doubt.
She warned Hannah, "You can't bring self-doubt to your team, which is junior to you. They must believe in what you're building, the vision, and the ability to hold the line.
"But you still need to be able to go to someone and say, 'I don't know.'" Could you just tell me that this makes sense? " The Duchess of Sussex elaborated.
However, she thanked her team colleagues for remarking, "We're so energized, this is amazing!"
But I did. Meghan stated, "I got into that same headspace that any of us can, because some may look at it and say, at least for me, it will have so much exposure."
She opened up about the public scrutiny of everything she does, adding, "Whatever I put out into the world will receive a lot of attention. I say yes. We are aware of the other side of the coin. Many folks do not have the opportunity to use a microscope."
Meghan Markle began As Ever on April 2nd, and her podcast Confessions Of a Female Founder debuted on April 8, 2025, with the fourth episode available on May 6.
