Meghan Markle expressed her thanks to Netflix for believing in her.
The Duchess of Sussex discussed the successful launch of her lifestyle company, As Ever, in the most recent edition of her podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder.
While admitting to experiencing "self-doubt" before to the debut, she emphasized the vital impact Netflix had in recognizing her business endeavors.
For those unaware, Meghan, Prince Harry's wife, first launched her lifestyle program, With Love, Meghan, on Netflix, which has already been renewed for the next season, followed by her lifestyle brand, As Ever. She then released her podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder, on April 8.
Meghan told guest speaker Hannah Mendoza, founder of Clevr Blends, that Netflix's involvement as a business partner is significant. Just having a worldwide giant trust in me, and the site selling out within 45 minutes of opening - everything that we had been working on."
"That taught me that customers—people—believed in me and my ideas. That is all you actually want as an entrepreneur. That becomes your confirmation that those late evenings and midnight reflections are worthwhile," the Duchess of Sussex said.
It's worth noting that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's engagement with Netflix is not new.
The royal couple inked a multi-year contract with the streaming behemoth in 2020 and have since released a number of projects under their Archewell Productions name, including the Harry & Meghan docuseries and the Heart of Invictus documentary.
