Meghan Markle still feels beholden to Beyonce

 

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter tour event in Los Angeles.

Meghan shared photographs of their date night on Instagram, where she has almost two million followers.

The former US actress does not follow Beyonce on the social networking platform, which might be why she named the singer to ensure that her message gets received.

"About last night..." Thank you, @beyonce and everyone, for an incredible show (and a very enjoyable date night)! She wrote, "All love."

The comment referencing the singer's name seems to imply that the pair interacted with Beyonce prior to or following her performance.

Notably, Beyoncé was the only high-profile celebrity to text Meghan following her and Prince Harry's appearance with Oprah Winfrey after they left the UK in 2020.

In the sixth episode of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex' Netflix documentary "Harry & Meghan," the former US actress tells her husband, "Beyoncé just texted."

"Just checking in," the singer's message to Meghan stated. "I still can't believe she knows who I am," Meghan tells Harry.

Furthermore, Beyoncé and Meghan were spotted hugging and kissing each other at the European premiere of The Lion King film in July 2019, just months before the Duke and Duchess of Sussex departed the UK.
