Meghan Markle had a falling out with a Vogue editor over substantial differences of viewpoint.
The Duchess of Sussex, who was formerly closest friends with Edward Enninful, admitted she was disappointed by him due to unrealistic expectations.
According to a Conde Nast insider, the duchess and her entourage had great hopes for a print or digital cover, but Enninful fell short of those expectations.
"He already had a magazine cover in the bag for that month," he told the Daily Mail.
"The whole procedure got quite challenging. Edward could only guarantee her a prominent mention in the magazine and online, but she declined," the insider continued.
