The royal family's decision to invite Prince Andrew to the Easter Sunday service has come under fire as a fresh incident involving the Duke of York surfaced.
Republic, an anti-monarchy party, questioned the royal family's choice when the BBC revealed that one of Prince Andrew's treasured commercial interests had been overseen for two years by a firm run by notorious businessman Doug Barrowman.
Republic also published a link to the BBC piece on its X account, captioned "still invited to attend events with the royals."
The Duke of York's finances have come under heavy examination, with doubts raised about how he can manage to remain in his Royal Lodge residence in Windsor after his brother, King Charles, cut him off financially.
The BBC said that the prince's choice of business acquaintances has long been contentious.
Prince Andrew and other members of the royal family attended the usual Easter Sunday service at Windsor.
The Duke of York accompanied the King and Queen in St George's Chapel for the second consecutive year.
