Lionel Richie, the American Idol judge, has revealed a stunning fact about King Charles.
Richie told People Magazine, "People see him as a king, but what is he like as a friend?" I'll say a sense of humor—you have no clue."
Richie, who co-hosted The King's Trust's fourth annual worldwide gala at Casa Cipriani, said, "He's a wonderful, wonderful person who cares so much about people." He has a lot of thoughts about what needs to change in the world.
"You probably won't hear it all coming out of his mouth because of the way the world is and what he has to stay quiet on, but he's a wonderful person, very funny."
"And over the years, I hope you're kind of getting to where you all will know that sense of humor a lot, like I understand it," according to him.
It is worth noting that Lionel Richie has worked with The King's Trust for almost 15 years. In 1976, as Prince of Wales, King Charles established The Prince's Trust.
