In a recent social media post, the 62-year-old recalled the good old days and when he first started working on the brand.
It's been more than 30 years since the first picture was released, and Cruise has described the entire journey as a 'experience of a lifetime.'
Taking to Instagram, the Top Gun: Maverick actor uploaded a series of photos reflecting about the emotional voyage.
He added, "Over 30 years ago, I began the process of making my first film, Mission: Impossible. Since then, these eight films have taken me on an unforgettable journey.
"I'd want to express my gratitude to the wonderful filmmakers, performers, artists, and crews from all over the world who helped bring these stories to life. It has been an honor to work with you guys."
Most significantly, Tom thanked the audience for their unwavering support and unconditional affection, which helped make it one of the world's most popular series ever.
