Prince Harry has provoked outrage with his shocking BBC interview.
The Duke of Sussex made alarming statements in the interview, which apparently exacerbated his feud with the royal family. It is worth noting that Harry's interview occurred barely hours after losing his security struggle.
Royal experts have already spoken out on the startling interview in the newest edition of Palace Confidential.
Royal editor Rebecca English described Harry's interview as "really very disturbing," adding, "He effectively said that he believed there were people who actively wished him harm and that those people would see what happened as 'a win,' as he described it."
"I'm not sure where Harry will go from here. "He obviously had a massive hissy fit on television afterwards, to put it mildly," she continued.
Meanwhile, editor and broadcaster Jo Elvin said, "In the interview, Harry just seemed beyond furious."
Richard Eden agreed with Jo, saying, "I am going to have to be careful with how I phrase this, but I thought he didn't look well in his expression, his demeanour."
"Often if you are angry about something, people say you should sleep on it but this seemed to be something, and I think the BBC would confirm that it was done in a hurry," he told the reporter.
He went on to say that the interview was not requested by anyone, but Harry made the decision. Richard said that the Duke of Sussex's representative contacted him for the interview, saying, "It was very much his decision, and I think a very rash one," adding, "He said a series of very unpleasant, provocative, dark, disturbing things, frankly."
Furthermore, Charlotte Griffiths stated that Harry "seemed like a broken guy," adding, "He made it apparent that he can't get a touch of his father. It felt like the only way he could communicate with his father, so that might have been the motive."
Notably, she pointed out that, while Prince Harry discussed reconciliation, he made no apology.
"Well, you have to start by saying sorry if you want forgiveness; I would have thought that would start the conversation. But there was no apology, was there? "He did not appear contrite," Charlotte remarked.
